देश की राजधानी के एक सरकारी स्कूल में 10वीं की छात्रा ने 20 जुलाई को जब एक बच्ची को जन्म दिया तो सबके होश उड़ गए। लड़की ने बताया कि वह रेप की शिकार हो रही थी। आरोपी पड़ोस का 51 साल का ऑटो चालक निकला, जिसे पुलिस ने शुक्रवार को अरेस्ट कर लिया है।
शुरुआती पूछताछ में पता चला है कि आरोपी अब्दुल गफ्फार किशोरी को चंगुल में रखने के लिए पैसों का लालच देता था। वह 4-5 बार यौन शोषण कर चुका था। लड़की को शुरू में अपने प्रेग्नेंट होने का पता नहीं चला। जब पेट फूलने लगा तो आरोपी ने उसे बच्चा गिराने की दवा खिला दी, जिसके असर से उसे स्कूल में प्री-मेच्योर डिलीवरी (26 हफ्ते) हो गई।
पुलिस के अनुसार, सबसे हैरानी की बात यह है कि बच्ची के परिजनों को भी उसके प्रग्नेंट होने का जरा भी अंदाजा नहीं लगा। उनका मानना था कि किसी बीमारी या गैस की वजह से किशोरी का पेट फूल रहा है। जब स्कूल से उसकी डिलिवरी की खबर मिली तो परिवारवाले भी दंग रह गए। फिलहाल नाबालिग मां और नवजात शिशु एक सरकारी अस्पताल में भर्ती हैं। फिलहाल दोनों की हालत खतरे से बाहर बताई जा रही है। नॉर्थ वेस्ट डिस्ट्रिक्ट के डीसीपी मिलिंद डुंबरे ने इस मामले की पुष्टि की है।
