जालंधर(विनोद मरवाहा)भारतीय रेलवे ने ट्रेन में सफर करने वालों का तगड़ा झटका दिया है. अब यात्रियों को रेलवे स्टेशन पर मिलने वाली सुविधाओं का फायदा उठाने पर ज्यादा शुल्क देना होगा. रेलवे बोर्ड ने मंडल रेल प्रबंधकों (डीआरएम) को इसकी इजाजत दे दी है. सुविधा-शुल्क बढ़ाने का अधिकार मिलने के बाद DRM ने क्लॉक रूम और लॉकरों के यूज का शुल्क बढ़ा दिया है. अब यात्रियों को इन सुविधाओं का फायदा उठाने के लिए ज्यादा रुपये देने होगे.
इसके साथ ही इस सेवा को आधुनिक बनाने के लिए शीघ्र ही नीलामी प्रक्रिया शुरू की जाएगी. रेलवे 24 घंटे के लिए लॉकर इस्तेमाल के लिए यात्रियों से 20 रुपए का शुल्क लेती है और प्रत्येक अतिरिक्त 24 घंटे के लिए 30 रुपए वसूले जाते हैं. पहले यह मूल्य 15 रुपए था. गौरतलब है कि अभी रेलवे 24 घंटे के लिए लॉकर के इस्तेमाल करने पर यात्रियों से 20 रुपये शुल्क लेती है.
24 घंटे की अवधि खत्म होने के बाद प्रत्येक अतिरिक्त 24 घंटे के लिए 30 रुपए वसूले जाते हैं. इस समय क्लॉक रूम का शुल्क 24 घंटे के लिए 15 रुपए है. इसके बाद प्रत्येक अतिरिक्त 24 घंटे के लिए यात्रियों से 20 रूपये लिए जाते हैं. इससे पहले साल 2000 में यह शुल्क 10 रुपए था. फरवरी, 2013 से अब तक क्लॉकरूम और लॉकर के चार्ज में बढ़ोतरी नहीं की गई थी.
