10 महीने में कांग्रेस छोड़ बीजेपी में शामिल हुए हंसराज हंस का भाजपा की टिकट पर चुनाव लड़ना फिलहाल तय नहीं है। पंजाब भाजपा अध्यक्ष विजय सांपला कि मानें तो हंस ने अभी तक पार्टी से टिकट की कोई मांग नहीं की है।
बता दें कि हंस ने सिर्फ 10 महीने पहले ही अकाली दाल छोड़ कर कांग्रेस ज्वॉइन की थी। हंसराज का नाम पंजाब असेंबली इलेक्शन के लिए टिकटों के दावेदारों में चल रहा था। अटकलों का दौर तब शुरू हुआ, जब कुछ दिन पहले दलितों के मुद्दे पर कांग्रेस की एक कॉन्फ्रेंस में वह मंच से कूद गए थे। उनका आरोप था कि पार्टी वाल्मिकी समाज के साथ भेदभाव कर रही है। इसके अलावा पिछले दिनों हंसराज सतलुज-यमुना लिंक नहर के मुद्दे पर बादल सरकार के मुरीद हो गए थे। तब हंसराज ने कहा था, ”मैं पार्टी लाइन से ऊपर उठकर इस मुद्दे पर सरकार के कदम की तारीफ करता हूं, सभी पंजाबियों को सरकार का सपोर्ट करना चाहिए।बता दें कि 2009 में हंसराज शिरोमणी अकाली दल के टिकट पर लोकसभा इलेक्शन भी लड़ चुके हैं। हालांकि उन्हें हार का मुंह देखना पड़ा था।
