अभिनेता सुनील ग्रोवर ने कपिल शर्मा के साथ हुये विवाद के बाद ट्विटर पर एक भावुक पोस्ट लिखते हुए कहा कि वह ‘अच्छे काम और अच्छे लोगों’ के प्रति खुद को समर्पित करना चाहते हैं. सुनील (39) ने मुश्किल समय में उन्हें ताकत देने वाले समर्थकों को धन्यवाद दिया.
उन्होंने लिखा, ‘आपने मुझे जो प्यार दिया, उसके लिए आपका धन्यवाद और आभार. इस प्यार के बिना मेरा कोई अस्तित्व नहीं है. आपके इस प्यार के कारण ही लोगों के बीच मेरी पहचान है. मैं इसे गले लगाता हूं. इस प्यार से मेरा दिल भर जाता है और मेरे दिल में नफरत के लिए कोई जगह नहीं बचती.’
कपिल शर्मा और सुनील ग्रोवर के बीच एक विमान में तकरार हो गयी थी. ऐसी भी खबरें आयी थी कि कपिल ने सुनील के खिलाफ अभद्र भाषा का प्रयोग किया.
‘द कपिल शर्मा शो’ में डॉक्टर मशहूर गुलाटी और रिंकू भाभी का लोकप्रिय चरित्र निभाने वाले सुनील ने पूर्व में ट्वीट कर कपिल से कहा था कि ‘यह आपका कार्यक्रम है और आपके पास किसी को कभी भी बाहर निकालने का अधिकार है, यह अहसास दिलाने के लिए आपका शुक्रिया.’
कपिल ने ट्विटर पर सुनील से माफी मांगी, हालांकि इससे भी बात नहीं बनी और सुनील ने कपिल को करारा जवाब देते हुए उन्हें लोगों का सम्मान करने की बात कही थी.
