अभी हाल में राजद के टिकट पर राज्यसभा पहुंचने वाले अशफाक करीम के कटिहार मेडिकल कॉलेज ने पीजी कोर्स के प्रॉस्पेक्टस के कवर पृष्ठ पर देश का गलत नक्शा प्रकाशित कर दिया है। प्रॉस्पेक्टस में भारत के मानचित्र में पाक अधिकृत कश्मीर के हिस्से को काट दिया गया है। इसकी तस्वीर सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुई, तो जदयू और भाजपा ने कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग कर दी। कॉलेज प्रबंधन ने मानचित्र में त्रुटि की बात स्वीकारते हुए खेद जताया है। वहीं जिलाधिकारी पूनम कुमारी के आदेश पर कॉलेज प्रबंधन के विरूद्ध नगर थाना में प्राथमिकी दर्ज करा दी गई।
सांसद और मेडिकल कॉलेज के एमडी अशफाक करीम ने खेद जताते हुए कहा कि गलती का पता चलते ही 24 अप्रैल को ही प्रिंटिंग प्रेस को इस संबंध में पत्र लिखा गया और प्रोस्पेक्टस की बिक्री पर तत्काल रोक लगा दी गई है। प्रोस्पेक्टस की प्रूफ रीडिंग में यह गलती क्यों पकड़ में नहीं आई, इसके लिए एक कमेटी भी गठित की गई है। जो दोषी पाए जाएंगे उनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई होगी।
केंद्रीय मंत्री गिरिराज सिंह ने कहा कि देश को तोड़ने की साजिश चल रही। ऐसी गलतियां इसीलिए की जा रहीं। इसके लिए देशद्रोह का मुकदमा होना चाहिए।
